Scott Caan makes waves as he strips off wetsuit to reveal muscular physique

He may have caused up a stir recently by dissing the slow Hawaii lifestyle.
But Hawaii Five-0 star Scott Caan proved he's more than comfortable in his hometown of Malibu, California, as he

enjoyed some thrills on the Pacific Ocean.

The smiling 36-year-old actor spent a casual day surfing and gave locals an eyeful when he peeled off his black wetsuit to reveal his hairy chest and six-pack abs.

Stripteaser: Scott Caan wasn't shy about changing in the parking lot during a day of surfing in Malibu, and sent pulses racing when he showed off his muscular chest and abs
Scott, who is single and has never been married, must have sent hearts palpitating with his sexy impromptu show.
The blond heartthrob was standing barefoot in the parking lot with his two custom surfboards lying on the asphalt in front of him.
The wind ruffled his hair and he was squinting in the sun, like the manly man that he is.

Well equipped: Scott brought two custom surfboards to ride the waves during his casual outing on Sunday

After all, he is the son of ultimate movie tough guy James Caan, who is perhaps best known for playing trigger-tempered Sonny Corleone in The Godfather.
Scott grew up in the privileged area of beachside Malibu and has been surfing since adolescence.
He showed great skill riding the waves on his blue and yellow surfboard, catching the curl with his fellow surf buddies.
Scott, however, put his foot in his mouth when he made derogatory comments about Hawaii, where his CBS show is filmed, during an appearance on the E! late night talk show Chelsea Lately in January.

Hawaii Five-O hunks: Scott, who plays 'Danno' to Alex O'Loughlin's Steve McGarrett in the CBS show, later apologised for dissing Hawaii during an appearance on Chelsea Lately in January

The star, a Golden Globe nominee for his role as Danny 'Danno' Williams on Hawaii Five-0, said he didn't like living in Hawaii, there's 'a lot of crystal meth' there and that the food 'sucks.'
'Everything is very slow-motion,' Scott told host Chelsea Handler. 'I pick up the cup and they... slowly pick up the cup. Everything is too relaxed for me. I like to hustle and there is no hustle there.'
Scott later apologised in an e-mail: 'I am truly sorry for my comments made on Chelsea Lately. Jokes are always a part of late night talk shows, but I'm horrified if I hurt or offended anyone, as that was not my intention. I love Hawaii, I love the people of Hawaii and I apologise.'
